Where does CopyCat look?
We run reverse image searches across the web and keep results from 14+ marketplaces and independent stores, including Etsy, Amazon, Temu, SHEIN, AliExpress, Walmart, eBay, Redbubble, Facebook and Shopify stores.
How do I report a copy?
Press Fill the report on any takedown. The free CopyCat browser extension opens the marketplace report form in your own account and fills it in with your notice, the copied listing, your original and your contact details. You check it and press submit. Reports from the owner’s own account get handled fastest. We then check the listing every day and mark it taken down when it is gone.
Will I get in trouble for reporting?
False reports can hurt your account, so CopyCat sorts every match into three levels. We only suggest reporting exact matches and copies you have checked yourself. Similar styles are watched, never pushed to report.
Do I need to register my copyright?
You own copyright the moment you create something, and platforms accept takedowns without registration. In the U.S. you need a registration before you can sue, so our guide explains when it is worth it.
What happens to my files?
Your images are stored privately and only used to search for copies. We never sell or share them. Delete a design and it is gone.
