Your account details (name, email, password stored as a secure hash), the contact details you add for takedown notices, the images you upload, and the results of scans.
We use your images only to search for copies of your work and to build your proof records and evidence packs. Images are sent to our image search provider to run reverse image searches. When you use the CopyCat browser extension, it puts your takedown details into the report form of the platform you chose, in your own browser. It only runs on those report pages after you press Fill the report, and it does not read your other tabs or passwords. We do not sell your data or use your images to train AI models.
When someone sends a fan report, we store the link, note, optional screenshot, and optional name and email, and share them only with the creator they reported to.
Payments are handled by Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle collects your payment details and billing address under its own privacy policy. We never see your full card number.
You can delete any design at any time. To delete your account and all data, email us and we will do it within 30 days.
